What age can my child get a debit card?
Children 14 and older with valid ID (e.g. Birth certificate, Social Security Card, Passport, State-issued ID card or driver's license).
Children under 14 may be approved with manager permission on a case-by-case basis.
What if they lose the card?
You can lock it instantly in the app and request a replacement card.
Does this build credit?
No, this is a debit card only. It teaches money management without affecting credit.
Are there any fees for the youth debit card?
The minor debit card has no monthly balance fee in service charge. Standard transaction fees may apply for certain services like ATM usage outside our network.
What are the spending limits for minor debit cards?
These cards come with lower spending limits to encourage responsible use—typically $310 for ATM withdrawals and $510 for point-of-sale (POS) purchases.
